Introduction
Lakeside & Brentwood Karting hosts the South-Easts largest and fastest outdoor Go Karting race track, suitable for adults and junior karting enthusiasts of all skill levels. Karts available on this top ranking circuit include the 70 mph Pro-cart, 45 mph Novice kart and the 45 mph Cadet.
Challenges & Goals
Our review of the Lakeside Karting & Brentwood Karting highlighted the fact that they had struggled to achieve over 300% Return on Advertising Spend and a CPA of under £20.
This is based on the fact that they would only gain significantly profitable ticket bookings for larger parties of 8 and above, and not single drivers or smaller groups of friends.
Our Strategy
Our Strategy was to look at addition ways to generate revenue as whilst maintaining a good CPA and Return on Advertising Spend. As they had run Facebook Ads before and some relatively successful campaigns, especially with the fact they had a lot of data to re-market people who have been on site and build lookalike audience based on those who have purchased, etc.
We also trialed multiple audiences and varied the types of carousel ads and video ads that we were using, and ran with more text split-tests to see which variants converted more sales.
Once we identified the previous performance issue, our aim was to significantly improve on this number and we worked towards achieving and exceeding a ROAS of 500% and upwards and to keep the CPA across the account consistently under £15.
Results:
702% - Return On Advertising Spend
300% - Increased Sales
Adding the correct tracking and finding an optimal target audience allowed us to reach qualified customers who purchased a Go Karting Session. Strong creatives also allowed us to increase our CTR and entice users to browse and visit the website to find out more.
