Introduction
EcoLiving are a wholesale distributor for high-quality sustainable household products. They also manufacture awesome zero waste products under their own brand. EcoLiving are committed to stopping micro plastic from entering our oceans, all their products are designed to combat waste and plastic pollution.
The EcoLiving website offering is both lead generation to acquire new business retailer signups, and an ecommerce service, where a visitor can purchase a product without signing up as a retailer, forfeiting the wholesale discount.
Challenges & Goals
Although we had successfully grown their Google Ads PPC marketing to an impressive 60,000%-85,000% ROAS (£1.00 of marketing budget making between £60.00-£85.00 in sales revenue), we hadn’t used Facebook Ads before.
However, Maple Forest saw the opportunity to expand beyond the Google Ads services that we were providing for them, as the B2B lead numbers, as well as the Ecommerce Sales revenue, were consistently delivering a great return, and scale was the next strategic step for business growth .
Our Facebook Ads strategy was to generate as many B2B leads as we could to the EcoLiving website, based on the performance data and client profiling that Maple Forest had amassed while running Google PPC Ads.
The leads that had signed up for wholesaler accounts would then go onto to purchase stock supplies, and this is where the ecommerce aspect of our marketing push really took hold, as a typical wholesale checkout basket value was well into three figures.
As it was a fresh account, our initial target CPA was a maximum of £15.00, with a starting average of 3 – 5 business leads per Day.
Our Strategy
We knew very well that our targeting will be people with a B2B demographic within Retail, Cleaning and Ecommerce. We also took into account, the power of narrowing down our target audience, for example: We Target ‘Retail Page Admins’ narrowed down by Eco Friendly, Sustainability, Zero Waste, Reusable, etc.
By further narrowing it helped us reach the most specific target audience with a higher conversion rate of generating leads and Ecommerce sales.
