Introduction
The London Art Collective's mission is to convey a more diverse range of ideas and values through the power of art, providing audiences with unique aesthetic experiences and spiritual resonance. LAC has held over 20 art exhibitions on various themes, covering numerous art forms and styles, including painting, sculpture, photography, installation art, etc
However, this particular opportunity would allow Independent and emerging artists based in the UK, a unique potentially career-defining path to exhibit pieces of their work at the prestigious Saatchi Gallery - a venue that does not accept open/direct submissions.
Goals & Objectives
In consultation with the LAC, Maple Forest decided and agreed on the best marketing platforms, the strategy and an initial budget, which would allow us to achieve at least 1,000 unique application submissions over 3 months' worth of advertising.
Based on the visual aspect of the Art scene and LAC's offerings, we agreed on META (Facebook & Instagram Ads) as the best platform to utilise.
Challenges
The LAC were already running behind schedule prior to contacting Maple Forest marketing. So this also meant that deadlines, goals and targets were pretty tight, prior to any marketing activity commencing.
The LAC hadn't run digital advertising campaigns before for this type of recruitment drive, so we were starting from scratch with no historical data or online performance insights.
Our Strategy
We researched their market sector and how best to target the required audiences.
We built campaigns to attract website Traffic, Lead Generation and to Remarket to website visitors who hadn't yet converted by submitting their details as part of the application process.
Using multiple adverts stlyes, images and videos we quickly saw which variations and styles best resinated with our target audiences, so more content that received the best engagement was created that showcased the great opportunity for new artists to be able to win the opportunity to exhibit at such a prestigious location as The Saatchi Gallery.
Maple Forest's collaboration with the LAC was an astounding success, as over the 3-month project period, we significantly exceeded our target of 1,000 unique paying applicants.
In total, we received 2,049 leads, well within budget and within our agreed CPA tolerances. Both the marketing and the event were a huge success, and Maple Forest attended the exhibition and met with exhibitors from all art disciplines.
